Foundation stone laid for a 2-lane flyover at a cost of Rs 78.93 crore; Assam CM on his 53rd birthday
On his 53rd birthday, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma lay the foundation for a new flyover at Zoo Tiniali, RG Baruah Road. The 580-meter 2-lane flyover, estimated to cost 78.93 crore, will be finished in 18 months and will bring significant respite to commuters.
On this occasion, He also lay the foundation for a multipurpose community centre on the temple grounds, which will cost Rs. 50 lakh to build. In addition, the government will donate cash for the temple’s auditorium, which is now under development.
He also paid a visit to Shri Doul Govinda Temple to seek blessings on his birthday. He also prayed for the progress of the state as well as everyone’s health and well-being, he added.
