A bunch of boys savagely stabbed a youth with a knife in the city’s Silpukhri on Wednesday, injuring him severely. It was a horrifying occurrence that happened in Guwahati today. According to sources, Deepak Rai, a resident of Lokhra, was the victim. He was taken in serious condition and taken right away to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH). The authorities haven’t yet determined what motivated the attack, though. Police are on the hunt for the suspect in this case and have initiated a manhunt in the interim.
Police have not yet identified the attack’s origin, but they have started looking for the offender in connection with the case. There are reportedly ongoing additional investigations.
