Police in Assam’s Hojai district reported on Tuesday that a girl, student of class 10 had reportedly been raped and killed. In her hometown of Lumding, she had gone missing the night before after her tuition class.
The young girl, according to reports, had gone missing since Monday night after leaving for her tuition class in Lumding, where she was from.
“On Tuesday, the body of the girl was discovered in the Lumding area of Krishna Basti. Prior to a post-mortem examination, the case appears to be one of rape and murder, however “PTI reported the words of a top official. He continued, “So far, no arrests have been made.”
