On Thursday, the weather department issued a heat advisory for regions of north and central India, predicting that conditions will improve after five days. For the following three days, similar alerts have been issued for east India. Dust storms were also expected in Punjab, Haryana, and the Delhi area, as well as parts of Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan, according to the IMD. “Isolated heavy rainfall is predicted over Arunachal Pradesh (Saturday) and Assam-Meghalaya (Saturday to Monday),” according to the IMD.
